The 11th Japan–Taiwan Radiation Oncology Symposium

第11回日本－台湾放射線腫瘍学シンポジウムを、2026年9月5日（土）に神戸ポートピアホテル（神戸市）にて開催いたします。

本シンポジウムは、高精度放射線治療をはじめとする先端的放射線治療研究の発展と、日本と台湾の放射線腫瘍学分野における学術交流の深化を目的として開催されてきました。2013年に日本で第1回が開催されて以来、日本と台湾で毎年交互に開催され、現在では日本放射線腫瘍学会（JASTRO）および台湾放射線腫瘍学会（TASTRO）の公式シンポジウムとして継続されています。

今回のシンポジウムテーマは“Shaping the Future of Radiation Oncology Through Friendly Collaboration”です。

日本と台湾は長年にわたり良好な友好関係を築いており、放射線腫瘍学の分野においても両国の協力は非常に重要です。本シンポジウムでは、高精度放射線治療や新しい放射線生物学研究、臨床応用など幅広いテーマについて議論し、放射線腫瘍学の未来に向けた新たな知見と交流の場となることを目指しています。

各セミナーに加え、Oral PresentationとPoster Presentationの一般演題も募集します。
特に若手研究者・若手医師の皆様にとって、国際学会での発表経験を得る良い機会となることを期待しています。

The 11th Japan–Taiwan Radiation Oncology Symposium

We are pleased to announce that the 11th Japan–Taiwan Radiation Oncology Symposium will be held on September 5, 2026, at the Kobe Portopia Hotel, Kobe, Japan.

This symposium was established to promote the advancement of precision radiation therapy and cutting-edge radiation oncology research, while strengthening academic collaboration between Japan and Taiwan. Since the first symposium was held in Japan in 2013, the meeting has been organized annually on an alternating basis between the two countries. It is now recognized as an official joint academic event of the Japanese Society for Radiation Oncology (JASTRO) and the Taiwan Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (TASTRO).

The theme of this year's symposium is:“Shaping the Future of Radiation Oncology Through Friendly Collaboration.”

Japan and Taiwan have long shared a strong and friendly relationship. In the field of radiation oncology, close collaboration between our countries plays an essential role in advancing research, clinical practice, and education. Through this symposium, we hope to provide an opportunity for active discussion on various topics including precision radiotherapy, translational radiation biology, and emerging therapeutic strategies, and to further strengthen academic exchange between our communities.

In addition to invited and sponsored sessions, we will also invite general abstract submissions, including:

• • Poster Presentations

We particularly encourage young investigators and early-career clinicians to participate and present their research at this international symposium.
